Thank you for your interest in Inver Hills Community Band. Listed below are some guidelines to make the audition process go better.
- After communicating with the Musical Director through the
Contact Us page, you will be called to set up a date and time that is convenient to you and the Musical Director. - The audition will be held at a location in South St. Paul.
- It usually takes only 10 minutes to play through the material.
- You will have time to warm-up before the audition starts.
- You will need to bring the four audition music sheets with you.
- Scale Sheet
- Cut-time Etude
- Six-Eight Etude
- Rhythmic Etude
- It is important when performing that you follow all articulation, dynamic, and expression markings on the music.
- You will be told the results at the end of the audition. If you fall short of passing, you may re-audition at a later date.
